[Perth Trip] Day 6: Perth-Singapore

Our last day in Perth. We had breakfast at the hotel, then we went by CAT bus to Harbour Town shopping center. Went back to hotel to collect our luggage and then we took cabs to the airport. I was awake during most of the journey back, I even played peek-a-boo with one of the friendly stewardesses.

[Perth Trip] Day 5: Margaret River-Perth

We started the day quite early today. Left the hotel at 9am and had a scenic drive through Boranup Karri Forest, South of Margaret River.

Dwarfed by the tall karri trees

Next stop: Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, situated where Southern and Indian Oceans meet. It was super hot and windy up there.

At Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

Then we drove to Cape Lavender. Finding this place was quite a challenge but we didn’t regret it because it was an awesome place with lavender garden, lake, winery, restaurant and shop selling various lavender products.

At Cape Lavender

Daddy drank a few glasses of the rose wine and therefore Mummy needed to be behind the wheel for our trip back to Perth.

[Perth Trip] Day 1: Singapore-Perth

Our flight SQ225 departed from Changi Airport Terminal 3 at 1:10am. I was asleep on the way to Changi but soon woke up in the terminal, fascinated at the crowd. Mummy said the airport was extremely packed today. We had some time to wander around in Changi, taking some photos with the parked aeroplanes too.

On my first flight

I was asleep most of the time in the aircraft, but I refused to be put inside the fitting bassinet, it’s so uncomfortable. Mummy’s lap was much better. So Mummy and Daddy converted the bassinet to a storage space 🙂

We arrived at Perth International Airport at 6.15am, and took Connect Transfer minibus to our hotel at city center. After morning shower we went out for sightseeing. First we took the free CAT bus to CBD area, then walked to the Bell Tower and Barrack Jetty.

Perth City Tour

I had a chance to ring one of the bells in the Bell Tower too, they are huge!

A day in Perth

We went to St Mary’s Cathedral for sunset mass. The cathedral was located near to our hotel so we walked there. I was fast asleep on the way to the church right up till homily time.
